The freakshow wouldn't be complete...

...if after watching actors Salah el Saadani and Raghda trump up on the war on Al Jazeera, then watching Ayman el Zawahri's latest cave video announcing the merger of his organization with sister company El Gamaa el Islamiya, and of course don't miss reading the manifesto of the universal judges troupe, if after this you don't take the football team's opinion on how they should run Egypt now if they were in charge!...

But Ibrahim Hassan's strategy is the best:

Hamada wakes up and has his say:

Then Farouk Gaafar (didn't he lead Egypt's failed bid in the world cup qualifiers?):

La mal3ouba ya Gaafar.

I don't know where this so called نخبة المثقفة thinks it is going with the drum beating, but I agree that they should be ashamed of themselves.

OMG !!!
There is no better description for that than the one u came up with: "A FREAK show". Since when does the opinion of the soccer players count in politics?! What do they know about politics to start with? And really, the last thing we need is the opinion of people like Ibrahim Hassan, whose only idea about solving any kind of problem that he faces is by swearing, getting offensive, and beating the hell out of others.

Great Post, thanks, keep'em coming

Hi Seneferu!
You made my laugh man...I mean this is really fantastic joke to hear. But if it is for real as you said , it is really disaster!. and who do you think take these guys seriously.. Idiots of such kind, will only make a perfect ingredients for political disasters not only in Egypt but elsewhere in the Arab world….
WOW, the last thing we need in Egypt now, is politics from football players?
But what can I say, the devil shits on a pile (European proverb). Man, I hope we are not doomed yet!

Felfela, about your Ibrahim Hassan comment - hence his pre-emptive war strategy:)

Ayyam, it is for real. The problem isn't reading their opinions which is welcome in the sense of entertainment in the way you found it to be. The problem is in the way the newspaper editors put their opinions for the purpose of charging up public opinion towards war...that's just wrong.
